We manufacture a range of lightweight aluminium aircraft maintenance steps and stairs, suitable for various aircraft which are easily manouvrable by one person.

All units have braked wheels at the rear and full 360° swivel castors on the frontfor easy steering and manouvrabilit. Manually lowered jack legs are deployed  and leave a full, stable stairway support the stairs.

Sliding handrails are available on top platforms if required with space to allow the aircraft doors to open.

The weatherproof aluminium stairways are virtually maintenance free and also include our unique anti-slip floor that is wear-resistant and remains anti-skid in all weather should they be used outside as aircraft re-fueling stairs.

Our aircraft stairs can also incorporate an extended walkway where a larger area of the aircraft requires service or potentially used as an aircraft de-icing walkway.

Ra'alloys's range of stairs and aircraft work platforms are designed for easy storage and they can simple slot apart and be stored flat.

This capability also reflects in our work platforms which can be re-configured, as an example the helicopter work platform detailed can accomodate the stairway on any three sides.

All contact with the aircraft is sheilded by a rubber tube buffer to avoid damage.

Our portable aluminium work platforms incorporate height adjustable legs which leave a lightweight, fully stable  aircraft maintenance platform usuable at various heights to suit the engineer.

We do have standard designs of our stairs or we can design and manufacture to suit depending on customer requirements.

The stairways are packed flat for delivery internationally and assembled on-site in just a couple of hours.
